A story about 55-year-old man. The victim received an email signed by George Feinberg, who identified himself as the head of luggage storage facilities at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids.
In the email, Feinberg claimed to be in possession of a trunk that was not properly declared as money. He said the victim was listed as a beneficiary, and requested he provide personal information to verify the claim to the treasure.
Feinberg asked for money to cover the cost of the United States Non Inspection Fee of $3,700 so the box can be delivered to the victim’s doorstep. The money was transferred to Feinberg, and the victim didn’t get anything in return.
